Hi! I’m Clo.
I am a nutrition coach who works with individuals who want to go beyond quick-fixes and fad diets and create a sustainable, healthy lifestyle where they can thrive and enjoy themselves.
Think of the goals you might have for yourself over the next month, year, decade. Maybe you want to meet a certain level of performance in your sport, start a family, go on the trip of a lifetime, or dedicate more of your time on a fulfilling career or a cause that speaks to your soul. You know what all these goal have in common? They start with health. You know what else all these goals have in common? They can feel pretty daunting and overwhelming at first. But not to worry, I’m here to break them down with you and help you every step of the way.
You heard me – these objectives you set for yourself don’t start with losing 5 pounds, adding muscle mass or getting abs, they start with ensuring you are healthy in mind and body. Once we have established that (and we will likely need to revisit it over time, as circumstances change), then we can work on breaking your goals down into bite-sized pieces (pun intended) that are sustainable to implement in your day-to-day life. I will also provide the guidance and accountability you need through this process, so that you feel supported and in control of your journey.
It took going through the wringer myself to realize that health is the foundation of all endeavours. Not that long ago, I was working a stressful, very physically demanding job in landscaping, while also working out about 10-12 hours a week and under-fueling my body.
In hindsight, I am sure you would agree that this lifestyle was not sustainable long-term, and sure enough my body rebelled and my health took a nosedive.
In order to heal, I questioned everything about my lifestyle, reoriented my career (I transferred over to an environmental non-profit, where I enjoy a much better work climate, as I simultaneously planned the transition to coaching), revisited my nutrition, and took a critical look at my exercise regimen and hobbies.
Most importantly, through all that, I had to learn to put my health first, because without it I wasn’t going to accomplish anything else.
I made peace with my body and developed gratefulness for it.
I started sleeping more and stressing less.
I started approaching each day with more openness and curiosity rather than fear and apprehension.
Now I’m not saying that your transformation needs to be as profound as mine was – nor that I have magically “arrived”. There are still hard days, but I handle them very differently now.
All this doesn’t mean that you need to tackle all aspects of your life at once, either. Maybe you are feeling pretty good already and just want to get that extra edge. That’s great! I can help with that. Or maybe you feel like there’s room for improvement in your life but you don’t know where to start. I can help with that too!

Get a clear picture of where you are at and create a clear, evidence-based plan to move you forward towards your goals
Understand why they matter to you and how they fit into your lifestyle
Create clear targets using a sustainable approach that allows you the freedom to stop obsessing over your food and start living
Work towards a healthier, stronger you who feels great in their body, not because of its size but because of what it can do
I want to create an army of badass, thriving humans whose motivations go beyond looks (not that there’s anything wrong with wanting to look a certain way – I believe you can have your cake and eat it too. Um, pun intended. Again.)
It doesn’t matter whether you already have clearly defined goals or just a vague idea of where you want to head; the most important thing is to start.
